Symptoms

Symptoms can vary depending on the injury type and the individual. Typically, immediate swelling (within three hours of the injury) will occur. You may have difficulty walking after the injury and it may be painful to move your knee. Occasionally, you may experience a feeling of instability, or your knee "giving out".
