Promos Modular Shoulder System

PROMOS™ Modular Shoulder System

The next generation shoulder system for optimal anatomical reconstruction.

The PROMOS™ Modular Shoulder System is unique and innovative. The humeral component's modularity, stepless inclination, and cementless fixation allow the surgeon to have unparalleled intraoperative flexibility to optimally match the patient's anatomy.

Innovative
The innovative, patented design of the inclination set allows for freely adjustable positioning of the inclination and version angle (1).

Modular
The build-up of the modular components can be performed in-situ, step by step, facilitating optimal anatomical reconstruction. Its modular design supports individual matching of the humeral component to the patient's anatomy. The modular bodies allow 5mm increases in height and changes in version while the inclination sets allow increases in neck length.

Stable
The cementless, dual-tapered rectangular cross-section stem promotes primary stability.

Proven
The PROMOS™ stem design is based on an anchorage philosophy with over 25 years of proven diaphyseal fixation (2, 3).

Optimal
Eccentric humeral heads facilitate complete coverage of the osteotomy site. The nonconforming humeral head and glenoid design optimizes kinematics by permitting rotational and translational movement of the humeral head (4).

Anatomical
The modular versatility of the PROMOS™ creates a specialized implant to match each patient's anatomical requirements.

Complete Product Range

  • 11 stem sizes (02, 01, 0, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 5)
  • 3 body heights (30, 35, 40mm)
  • 4 inclination sets, neck lengths (20, 22, 24, 26mm)
  • 14 humeral head sizes (R19 to R26)
  • 12 glenoid components, 4 glenoid sizes (1, 2, 3, 4) and 3 radii for each size (23, 26, 29mm)

Intuitive
The surgical technique and instrument set is intuitive and allows for predictable anatomic implantation. No reaming is required, which preserves intramedullary blood supply.
