PROMOS™ Modular Shoulder System

The PROMOS™ modular shoulder system is the next generation in total shoulder joint replacement. The PROMOS™ facilitates accurate anatomical reconstruction with intra-operative, multi-planar adaptability. In addition, the PROMOS™ utilizes a dual taper, rectangular cross section, titanium, press-fit stem to provide cementless fixation, and a nonconforming humeral head and glenoid design to optimize kinematics.

Plus, the surgical instruments are similar to the SL-PLUS® hip stem with broaches that compact the bone in the humeral canal to promote bone preservation, stimulate fixation and preserve the intramedullary blood supply. The instruments are simple and easy to use, and assist the surgeon in preparing the glenoid and optimally placing the implant.
