The TC-PLUS
Solution knee fulfils requirements for a long-term implant thanks
to many years of experience gained with traditional knee systems
and recent developments in design and production technology.
The CAD-optimized contact surface geometries, manufactured to the highest
reproducible standards by CNC, and grinding robot production techniques minimize
contact pressures on the polyethylene and, in combination with the mirror finish of
the tibial component, polyethylene wear.
The instruments are easy to manipulate and allow the surgeon to work with precision
and achieve reproducible results. Their underlying concept is also embodied in
other products in the Solution knee range, thus considerably enhancing familiarity
and safety. Thanks to bone cut compatibility, the surgeon may, if necessary, switch
to the rotating hinge knee RT-PLUS Solution during
the operation.
The proven biomechanical concept and the resulting superior tribologic properties,
combined with the innovative anchoring technique, set the trend for tricompartmental
knee replacement in the future.
