Ball Head Extractor

The ball head extractor can be used to remove any manufacturer's ball head up to 32 mm diameter in combination with any manufacturer's femoral stem. The superior mechanical advantage that this device employs ensures that the ball head will be removed with very little effort by the surgeon. This keeps the stem from being damaged as is possible with alternative methods of head removal. Moreover, since the ball head is pulled of by pushing against the stem, no force is transmitted to the prosthesis interfaces.
